Salesforce Commerce Cloud Automation Tester

Description:

GSPANN is hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Automation Testing Lead to drive test automation for online stores, focusing on scalable testing frameworks and high-quality, on-time eCommerce releases.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end test automation strategy for SFCC applications.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for web, Application Programming Interface (API), and integration testing.
• Lead automation efforts for SFCC storefronts, Business Manager, checkout, promotions, payment, and order management workflows.
• Build automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, and related technologies.
• Implement automated API validation for integrations involving Order Management System (OMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), payment gateways, and third-party systems.
• Manage the integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Ensure consistent automation through established best practices, coding standards, and framework governance.
• Optimize automation coverage by analyzing execution trends and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, Quality Assurance (QA) leads, and DevOps teams.
• Support automation engineers through mentoring and technical leadership across programs.
• Implement modern testing approaches, including shift-left testing and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven testing.

Skills and Experience:

• Bring 10+ years of software testing experience, with a proven track record of leading QA teams and delivering high-quality eCommerce applications.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in SFCC (Demandware).
• Develop automation frameworks from scratch.
• Work with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, REST Assured, and Postman in hands-on delivery.
• Apply strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of eCommerce business processes, including catalog management, search and merchandising, shopping cart, checkout, promotions, payments, and order management.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
• Manage stakeholders effectively and provide strong team leadership.
