Azure Cloud Native Architect

Description:

GSPANN is hiring an Azure Cloud Native Architect to design and govern cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on secure, scalable, cost-efficient platforms and guiding teams through cloud transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and govern Azure-native cloud solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives and provide architectural guidance across multiple projects.
• Ensure Azure solution designs meet security, scalability, reliability, and cost-optimization best practices through review, validation, and approval.
• Support engineering teams through technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on cloud architecture, implementation, and operational excellence.
• Develop architecture standards, governance frameworks, and Azure best practices.
• Build clear documentation for architectures, operational procedures, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to define cloud roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
• Drive solution reviews, risk assessments, and design workshops for Azure-based platforms.
• Ensure every solution incorporates high availability, disaster recovery, security, and compliance requirements.

Skills and Experience:

• Hold the Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification, which is mandatory for this role.
• Bring strong expertise in Azure-native services, cloud architecture patterns, and enterprise-scale deployments.
• Apply deep knowledge of Azure DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in Azure networking, including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Virtual Private Network (VPN) Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Apply hands-on knowledge of network security and connectivity, including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, Domain Name System (DNS), and hub-spoke network architectures.
• Bring strong experience with Azure Landing Zones, governance, and cloud security frameworks.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience designing highly scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient Azure solutions.
• Utilize excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.
• Bring experience leading cloud architecture review boards or technical governance committees.
• Apply knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Work with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps), cloud cost optimization, and operational excellence.
