Job Description:

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a Sr. Developer to lead the modernization of legacy AS400 applications within a fast-paced casino gaming environment. The role involves redesigning, refactoring, and integrating core gaming systems with modern technologies while ensuring high performance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing applications and define modernization roadmaps.
• Migrate legacy code to service-oriented architectures and cloud platforms.
• Integrate gaming APIs, and third-party services.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and operations in Agile ceremonies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide rapid root-cause analysis.
• Document technical designs, standards, and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and foster knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience with development.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript.
• Hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems to microservices or cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with casino gaming domain concepts and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
