Workday Security Administrator

Role Overview:

• Workday Implementer Security Administrator
• 5 years of relevant Workday security administration experience
• Configure and maintain Workday security groups, domains, and business process security policies
• Design and implement role-based security models aligned with business requirements
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and role assignments
• Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues and access requests
• Perform periodic security audits and access reviews
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams
• Translate business requirements into secure Workday solutions
• Provide guidance on Workday security best practices
• Strong understanding of system release management
• Able to define and own the overall security strategy and define the governance to maintain security across the Workday platform over time
• Expert in setting up new tenants and performing security updates in bulk

Mandatory Requirements:

• Required Certifications
• Workday Pro Security Certification or equivalent certification necessary to have
• Implementer's role access in Workday
• Workday HCM Certification preferred for security administrators supporting Core HCM
• Completion of Workday Security Fundamentals training
