SAP Project Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – SAP Cloud Applications to lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and support engagements for our SAP practice. The role combines project management ownership with solution architecture responsibility across SAP S/4HANA (On-Premise and Public Cloud), SAP ECC, and SAP Business ByDesign. The person will manage delivery timelines, own the solution architecture blueprint, act as PMO lead across concurrent domestic and international engagements, and lead a team of S/4HANA consultants.

The ideal candidate brings deep functional depth in Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Supply Chain Management (SCM), paired with strong client-facing project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Leadership

• End-to-end delivery ownership – own project delivery for SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and AMS (Application Management Services) engagements, from planning through go-live and hypercare.
• Program management – manage project timelines, budgets, resourcing, and risk registers across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Architectural alignment – lead architectural alignment during complex transformation programs, including company code mergers, system consolidations, and multi-entity rollouts.

2. Solution Architecture

• Blueprint ownership – own the end-to-end solution architecture blueprint for SAP SD and MM modules, ensuring design consistency across business processes.
• Architectural governance – provide high-level architectural governance across SD, SCM, and Sourcing & Procurement work streams.
• Process-to-goal alignment – ensure the S/4HANA Cloud procurement and business process framework aligns with the client's corporate business goals.
• Solution design leadership – lead solution design for Sales & Distribution, SCM, and Sourcing & Procurement in S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.

3. PMO & Governance

• PMO leadership – act as PMO Lead for integration and implementation programs across domestic and international projects.
• Governance structures – establish and run project governance structures, including steering committee reporting, status tracking, and escalation management.
• Process streamlining – analyze existing workflows to streamline business processes and enable client teams to operate independently post go-live.

4. Team Leadership

• Team management – manage and mentor a team of SAP S/4HANA consultants delivering domestic and international projects.
• Capability building – build delivery capability across the team through coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured upskilling.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

• Primary client contact – serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders on project status, risks, and architectural decisions.
• Executive presentations – present solutions, project updates, and business cases to senior client and internal leadership.

Required Experience & Technology Exposure:

Overall experience: 13+ years of SAP implementation experience across S/4HANA (SD, MM) and SAP Business ByDesign, with 15+ full life-cycle, end-to-end SAP implementation projects completed and 15+ years of combined IT and people/team management experience.

• Prior experience operating as both Project Manager and Solution Architect on the same engagement
• Strong track record of presenting to and influencing senior client stakeholders
• Fluent in business English, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage for international engagements

• PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification (added advantage)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Location & Work Mode:

Reporting Line: Reports to the Practice Head / Delivery Head of the SAP Practice. Work Mode & Travel: Hybrid/onsite as per engagement requirements; willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client engagements, including short-to-medium term onsite deployments.
