About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack capabilities for the C3 AI Platform.
- Build reliable and reusable platform services, APIs, developer tools, and application capabilities.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Contribute to solutions that enable AI applications to efficiently process and scale to large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full technology stack.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvements to platform quality, performance, and reliability.
- Learn and adopt new technologies and engineering practices to continuously improve the C3 AI Platform.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date of Summer or Fall 2027.
- Strong programming fundamentals and experience developing software in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Basic understanding of full-stack application development, including APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with modern software development frameworks and tools through coursework, internships, personal projects, or prior work experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building full-stack applications or platform services through internships, projects, open source, or professional experience.
- Experience with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar modern technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, distributed systems, or scalable application architectures.
- Experience building or working with platform services, APIs, data storage, CI/CD pipelines, or other software development infrastructure.
- Experience building developer tools or platforms that improve engineering productivity.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities or working with AI-powered applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, performance, and reliability principles.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
