Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into scalable and practical solutions.

The candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments across large-scale transformation programs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and requirements.
• Lead requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process assessments.
• Document and manage Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), User Stories, and Use Cases.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirement prioritization, impact analysis, and change management activities.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and business models using industry-standard tools.
• Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure requirements traceability from business need through implementation and testing.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and solution validation.
• Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, and business insights for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency in creating User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Data Mapping documents.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience conducting workshops, requirement sessions, and solution discussions.
• Knowledge of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with tools such as:

  • Confluence
  • Azure DevOps
  • MS Visio
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Applications.
• Exposure to SQL and data analysis.
• Experience in process improvement and business process re-engineering.
• Knowledge of UML, BPMN, and process modeling techniques.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or Scrum certifications.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certifications preferred.
