Business Analyst Trainee

About the Role

At Sunflower Lab, we build cutting-edge digital products, mobile & web apps, Agentic AI, RPA, and enterprise data solutions. We are seeking an ambitious, fast-learning Business Analyst Trainee to join our growth and sales enablement team.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology and business development. You will bridge the gap between prospect business needs and our technical capabilities—handling initial discovery calls, running live and asynchronous video product demos, creating sales collateral, and maintaining pipeline discipline.

Role Priority Breakdown

• 50% — Lead Discovery, Live & Asynchronous Product Demos, Product Documentation
• 40% — Sales & Marketing Collateral Creation (Pitch Decks, One-Pagers, Case Studies)
• 10% — Industry Market Research & Outbound Campaign Support

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Qualification & Discovery

  • Manage, nurture, and qualify inbound leads for standard verticals and service lines.
  • Conduct high-level discovery calls and initial walkthroughs/demos of standard software solutions, platforms, and accelerators for inbound prospects.
  • Evaluate client pain points, budget, decision authority, and project timelines.
  • Capture structured technical and business notes to execute seamless handoffs to senior Solution Architects and Sales Leads.

• Live & Asynchronous Video Demos

  • Live Product Demos: Walk prospects through standard product and solution walkthroughs with confidence and clarity.
  • Async Video Assets: Script, record, and produce short-form video demos (using tools like Loom, Synthesia, or screen recorders) for cold outreach, lead follow-ups, and self-serve product previews.
  • Demo Library Management: Build and maintain a structured video demo library categorized by vertical, feature set, and use case.

• Sales & Marketing Collateral Creation

  • Collaborate with marketing and tech leads to build compelling pitch decks, product one-pagers, solution briefs, and client case studies.
  • Build customized presentation decks for specific prospect meetings.
  • Translate complex technical features (e.g., AI agents, low-code workflows, data pipelines) into simple, ROI-driven business narratives.

• Market Research & Vertical Strategy

  • Research target industry verticals (e.g., healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, retail) to identify key technology trends and common pain points.
  • Support outbound campaigns by identifying target accounts and tailoring outreach messaging.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: MBA in IT, Systems, or Marketing (B.Tech/BE undergrad + MBA preferred).

• Technical Literacy: High-level understanding of modern software concepts (APIs, cloud platforms, AI/RPA workflows, SDLC)—no coding required.

• On-Camera & Live Communication: Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills. Comfortable recording video walkthroughs, presenting live to stakeholders, and explaining technical benefits clearly.

• Tool Familiarity: Exposure to CRM platforms (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce) and video recording/editing tools (Loom, Canva, or AI video generators) is a strong plus.

• Presentation Skills: Proficiency in building clean, professional pitch decks using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva.

• Problem-Solving & Agility: Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced technology consulting environment.
