Azure .NET Technical Lead

Skills Required:

• Must have worked on Azure environment for at least 4+ years.
  • Azure App Service (Web App, API App)
  • Azure API Management
  • Event Hub
  • Azure SQL and Cosmos DB
  • App Insights
• Must be hands-on and capable of taking up coding assignments such as frameworks, reusable components, complex PoCs, and critical technical solutions.
• Should spend approximately 60% of their time on hands-on development/coding activities and 40% on technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and team guidance.
• Programming Language: C#/.NET Core
• Excellent communication skills
• Nice to have Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude for coding, code review, productivity improvement, and engineering acceleration.

Responsibilities:

• Own one or more projects under development.
• Thoroughly understand requirements and design detailed technical solutions.
• Design and implement automated unit testing frameworks as required.
• Use best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct peer reviews and lead reviews and provide feedback.
• Clarify all unknown areas communicated by the onsite team/customer.
• Mentor junior team members with the assistance of PM/Architect.
• Promptly escalate issues affecting product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report the same to the reporting manager.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of agreed deliverables.
• Target zero surprises; proactively react to challenges with detailed written explanations.
• Help PM in the annual and mid-year appraisal process.
• Function as a player-coach Technical Lead, dedicating approximately 60% of effort to hands-on coding and solution development, and 40% to mentoring, technical governance, code reviews, and team development.
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude to improve developer productivity, accelerate development, enhance code quality, and support engineering best practices.
• Overall, the Technical Lead should be a reference point and technical role model for the team.
