Finance Solution Consultant

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Finance Solution Consultant with strong finance domain expertise and hands-on ERP experience to work closely with customers, understand requirements, and design robust solutions for our Business Process Automation for multiple disciplines including Finance viz. Procure to Pay, Order to Cash etc. This role acts as the bridge between customers, product, and engineering, ensuring accurate requirement elicitation and end-to-end solutioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Engage with customers to understand their business processes, especially in finance related processes such as AP/AR/BRS/Inter Co reconciliations, Consolidated FS and invoice workflows.
• Conduct detailed requirement elicitation sessions and map business needs to product capabilities.
• Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, gap analysis, and functional specifications.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Design end-to-end finance workflow solutions using our invoice automation platform.
• Configure and demonstrate product capabilities aligned with customer requirements.
• Work with product and engineering teams to validate feasibility of solutions.
• Recommend process improvements based on best practices in finance and automation.

Customer Collaboration & Delivery

• Act as primary functional SME during onboarding and implementation cycles.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Provide support during UAT and coordinate change requests.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer for client teams.

Cross-functional Contribution

• Work with product managers to give feedback on new features and enhancements.
• Create functional documentation, SOPs, and playbooks for internal teams.
• Support pre-sales with demos, solution walkthroughs, and RFP responses when needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in finance, ERP implementation, or financial systems consulting.
• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoice Management, Vendor Payments, and Reconciliations.
• Mandatory experience with at least one major ERP (SAP, Oracle, Ramco, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, Odoo, ERPNext etc.).
• Core technical skill 3.
• Soft skills / communication requirements.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Qualification: CA or CMA (Mandatory)
• Any Finance Modules
