Delivery Head

About the role:

As Delivery Head, you will serve as the primary technical authority for Nexgen's enterprise Health Lakehouse solutions on Azure and AWS, directing legacy-to-FHIR modernization, clinical AI/ML orchestration, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 13485) while managing a global engineering team of 400+ professionals delivering MedTech and connected-care platforms.

Required qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of relevant experience in software development, systems analysis, solution architecture, or IT project/program management.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic Cloud Architecture & Health Lakehouse Engineering (30%): Serve as primary technical authority designing enterprise Health Lakehouse solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS; oversee transition from legacy data warehouses to distributed Medallion Architectures (bronze/silver/gold); architect Hub-and-Spoke network topologies (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Managed Private Endpoints, Azure Private Links); define data governance via Microsoft Purview/Unity Catalog; lead high-throughput ingestion pipelines (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, AWS Kinesis); conduct cloud migration feasibility studies for DICOM medical imaging workloads.
• Interoperability & Legacy Modernization Strategy (25%): Direct modernization of legacy healthcare systems; architect Legacy-to-FHIR middleware (HL7 V2/V3, CDA to FHIR R4, ONC Cures Act compliant); design/validate DICOMweb interfaces (WADO-RS, STOW-RS, QIDO-RS); oversee CDA on FHIR implementation; resolve semantic interoperability across EHRs (Epic, Cerner) using SNOMED-CT, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD-10.
• AI Orchestration & Specialized MedTech Platform Delivery (25%): Lead deployment of clinical AI/ML models into production; orchestrate diagnostic AI workflows via DICOM Structured Reporting; architect IoT connected-care solutions on Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform (HSDP) and GE Edison Digital Platform; design MLOps pipelines (Azure AI Foundry, AWS SageMaker) with human-in-the-loop validation; develop multi-agent AI systems using LangGraph.
• Regulatory Compliance & Executive Delivery Oversight (20%): Ensure MedTech programs adhere to HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 13485; conduct security architecture reviews (HITRUST, PHI encryption, audit trails); manage global cross-functional engineering teams (400+ professionals) under Hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodology; define and track Cloud FinOps KPIs, maintaining 99.95%+ SLAs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), Information Systems/Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, Computer/Business Systems Analyst, Solution Architect, Project Manager/Lead, IT Project Manager, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.
• Background check and reference check required. No specific test required. Position is not remote (on-site at Frisco, TX worksite).
