Teamcenter Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Description:

Teamcenter Techno-Functional Consultant to lead requirement analysis, functional solution design, Teamcenter configuration, testing, deployment, and production support. The role requires strong PLM domain knowledge, hands-on Teamcenter expertise, and the ability to work effectively with business, engineering, manufacturing, IT, and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct stakeholder workshops, process discovery, fit-gap analysis, requirement validation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, solution designs, configuration workbooks, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and configure Teamcenter solutions for:
• Product and document management
• EBOM/MBOM and configuration management
• Engineering change and release management
• Workflow and approval processes
• Classification, organization, projects, queries, and access controls
• Configure and maintain Teamcenter using BMIDE, Active Workspace, Rich Client, Workflow Designer, Query Builder, Preferences, LOVs, and Access Manager.
• Work with development teams on Teamcenter customizations using ITK, SOA, REST services, XML, SQL, and scripting.
• Define requirements for CAD, ERP, manufacturing, quality, and enterprise application integrations.
• Support legacy data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and execute SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Lead customer playbacks, solution reviews, impact assessments, estimation, and technical-functional governance.
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure quality, traceability, and timely delivery.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in BMIDE, Active Workspace, Rich Client, workflows, access controls, BOM, document management, change management, and classification.
• Working knowledge of ITK, SOA, REST APIs, XML, SQL, and scripting.
• Experience with CAD and ERP integrations, preferably NX, Creo, CATIA, SAP, Oracle, AIG, T4S, T4O, or T4EA.
• Experience in Teamcenter implementation, upgrade, migration, or AMS/support programs.
• Strong customer-facing, documentation, workshop facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
