Junior Data Engineering Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering team supporting Logitech's global supply chain functions — planning, logistics, sourcing, manufacturing, procurement, and customer service. You will build and maintain data pipelines, models, and internal tooling that power operational and analytical decision-making across these domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines on Snowflake using SQL, Snowpark (Python), and related tooling
• Build and optimize data models in the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) supporting supply chain reporting and analytics
• Develop and support Streamlit-in-Snowflake applications for internal business teams
• Write clean, well-tested SQL for data transformations, aggregations, and quality checks
• Collaborate with supply chain analysts and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot data quality issues, and implement automated alerting
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team

Required Skills

• 1+ years hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, window functions, CTEs)
• Working knowledge of Python (data manipulation with pandas or similar)
• Familiarity with at least one cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred; BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks acceptable)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts — star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, incremental loads
• Basic understanding of version control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to data accuracy

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Snowflake features — stages, streams, tasks, dynamic tables, Snowpark
• Exposure to Streamlit or similar Python-based app frameworks
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or Snowflake Tasks)
• Domain exposure to supply chain processes (order management, logistics, serialization, inventory)
• Understanding of data governance and access control patterns

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1–2 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related data role
• Strong communication skills — ability to work with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders
