About the role
The Role:
At Logitech, the Workplace Experience (WPE) team is at the intersection of the digital and physical realms that enable hybrid work. The Workplace Digital team is seeking a skilled security systems administrator to support the physical security technology portfolio and the data, reporting, and integration layer that sits on top of it. This role covers hands-on administration of enterprise access control, video management and workplace wellbeing platforms, leveraging API and SQL knowledge to build reports, automations, and integrations, and ensuring compliance with Logitech IT security standards, data privacy governance, and international standards such as ISO or SOC II.
This is an onsite role based in Dallas, Texas and requires five (5) days onsite. It reports to the Manager for Digital Workplace Experience based in Ireland, and day-to-day duties are managed by the Health, Safety and Security manager based in Dallas.
What You'll Do:
Focus Area 1: Security Platform Operations & Support
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Lenel OnGuard, including access levels, cardholder records, badge configuration, readers, panels, and alarm/event routing.
- Data Exchange / SQL View Maintenance
- Support Milestone XProtect maintenance, including camera onboarding, recording servers, retention and storage policies.
- Support device onboarding, firmware and software updates, and lifecycle management for controllers, readers, cameras, encoders, and associated security hardware.
- Monitor operational security systems for errors, alerts, and overall system health, proactively resolving issues before they affect end users.
- Support IP network configuration and connectivity troubleshooting for security devices, including multicast, bandwidth management, and video stream optimisation.
- Ensure security platforms integrate cleanly with IT-managed infrastructure, directory services, and cloud-hosted platforms.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration standards, troubleshooting steps, and support playbooks.
- Prepare and manage system updates, meeting best practices for downtime and redundancy.
Focus Area 2: Data, Reporting, Automation & Integration
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures against OnGuard and XProtect databases to support operational and management reporting.
- Build and maintain dashboards and scheduled reports covering access activity, alarm volumes, device availability, badge and cardholder data quality, and system health metrics.
- Develop integrations using platform APIs and SDKs (OpenAccess, DataConduIT, Milestone MIP/REST) to connect security systems with HR, identity, ticketing, workplace, and business intelligence platforms.
- Automate recurring administrative tasks such as cardholder provisioning and deprovisioning, access level assignment, audit exports, and system reconciliation between source-of-truth systems.
- Design and support automated workflows that reduce manual effort for operators and site teams, including alarm enrichment, event-driven notifications, and ticket creation.
- Establish and maintain data quality controls, reconciliation routines, and audit-ready reporting to support compliance and internal review requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for reports, ensuring compliance with privacy and legal requirements are met for all outbound requests.
- Evaluate and pilot new tooling, scripts, and integration approaches, documenting use cases and demonstrating capability to internal stakeholders.
Focus Area 3: Compliance and governance
- Make compliance part of every day workflows.
- Track potential issues with mitigating actions to demonstrate ongoing compliance.
- Support continuous improvement to enhance the work environment.
- Use technology to help Logitech adapt to changing regulations and evolving risks.
- Support the H&S team across the organisation to prevent accidents.
- Gatekeep and maintain resilient standardised processes, documentation, and audits.
- Streamline integrations, which supports collaboration and data-driven decision making.
Cross-Functional & Project Responsibilities
- Act as the technical liaison between Workplace Digital, IT, security operations, and site leadership, ensuring consistent system performance and clear escalation paths.
- Participate in incident response workflows, troubleshooting and escalating security system issues that impact operations.
- Manage overarching security technology projects, such as platform upgrades, camera and reader refreshes, integration rollouts, new ventures and reporting initiatives.
- Work with integrators, vendors, and internal teams to scope, deliver, and validate technology changes on schedule.
- Support project stakeholders by ensuring access control and video systems meet standards and are installed and configured properly across all locations, with a set audit trail and preplanned maintenance schedule.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
- At least 4 years of verifiable hands-on experience administering Lenel OnGuard and Milestone XProtect in an enterprise environment.
- Working SQL proficiency, including joins, aggregation, and query optimisation against production databases.
- Experience consuming and building against REST APIs or platform SDKs.
- Basic understanding of IP networking as it applies to security devices and video transport.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be able to work with and protect highly confidential information.
- Experience managing data request workflows and proper data sanitization strategies.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 Controls and Risk Management Framework.
- Experience with OSHA framework and processes.
Preferable Skills and Behaviors:
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) for automation and data handling.
- Experience with a BI or reporting tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Familiarity with identity and HR systems as sources of truth for access provisioning.
- Experience directly integrating HR systems as a custom solution is a major plus.
- Manufacturer certifications in OnGuard and/or XProtect.
- Experience supporting a 24/7 operational environment.

Location:
This position will be based out of the Dallas, Texas area, working hybrid out of the Dallas office. Only candidates who are able to work from the Dallas Office location will be given preference for this role.
Compensation:
This position offers an annual base salary typically between $75,000 and $96,000, depending on location and experience.
