About the role
Job Description
The Senior Account Executive/Sales Executive of the Insurance Vertical develops relationships with independent insurance agencies and other industry entities, positioning them as potential IDIQ channel partners. Using a multi-channel outbound approach, they drive discovery conversations with agency decision-makers and manage the relationship from initial contact through to the completed discovery call.
As deals progress, the Sr. Account Executive shadows and supports the close and agent-adoption onboarding, gaining hands-on experience with the full cycle. This foundation sets them up to assume full deal ownership as the channel grows and their track record builds.
Key job functions
- Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective partners beyond leads provided by management.
- Utilize consultative selling approaches such as S.P.I.N. Selling or the Challenger Sales methodology to uncover business challenges, educate prospects, and guide them toward value-based solutions.
- Execute 25-30 meaningful outbound touches per day across a multi-channel cadence (email, phone, text, LinkedIn, video) targeting prospective agencies and other industry partners.
- Schedule and run discovery calls with decision-makers, targeting 4-6 scheduled discovery calls per week.
- Shadow and support the proposal, close, and agent-adoption onboarding process on self-originated deals to build full-cycle ownership.
- Report on pipeline status of prospective partners to management, tracked through each stage as defined by our CRM.
- Assist marketing entities through the partner activation process.
- Demonstrate relentless pipeline discipline and thorough activity documentation while maintaining efficient, accurate workflows within the company CRM.
- Become an expert in IDIQ products, benefits, and functionality to represent the offering credibly in early-stage agency conversations.
Additional duties
- Able to handle and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive consumer information in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
- Must follow all company policies and procedures regarding data privacy and protection and data loss prevention.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
