Solution Design Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:\n\nSolution Architecture & Delivery Leadership\n- Lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle activities including:\n- requirements gathering\n- solution architecture\n- design\n- configuration\n- testing\n- deployment\n- go-live\n- post-production support\n-\n- Drive multiple concurrent FCR implementation projects while managing timelines, risks, scope, and customer expectations\n- Provide implementation leadership and governance to accelerate delivery execution and improve project outcomes\n\nFinancial Consolidation & Reporting Expertise\n- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on:\n- Intercompany Eliminations\n- Retained Earnings roll-forward\n- Foreign Currency Translation\n- Financial Close processes\n- Topside Adjustments & Managerial Allocations\n- Design and implement consolidation, reporting, and planning solutions aligned with IFRS and GAAP requirements\n- Configure and maintain complex financial metadata, hierarchies, and reporting structures using Excel Add-In technologies\n\nReporting, Analytics & Financial Processes\n- Design and develop sophisticated:\n- financial statements\n- management reports\n- dashboards\n- budgeting/forecasting/upload templates\n- ad hoc reporting solutions\n- Build multidimensional reporting structures and financial analytics models using LiveCube Add-In and related technologies\n- Review and optimize existing financial close and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce close cycle timelines\n\nStakeholder & Team Management\n- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with:\n- Financial Controllers and Accounting Managers\n- Finance leadership (CFO, VP Finance, etc.)\n- Finance and accounting teams (analysts, staff accountants)\n- IT stakeholders\n- Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions, and recommend best-in-class alternatives/solutions\n- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to align customer requirements with platform capabilities and roadmap direction\n- Mentor and support implementation consultants and delivery team members\n\nRequirements: \nEducation & Experience\n- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred\n- CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred, but not required\n- 8+ years of experience in:\n- Financial Consolidation\n- Financial Reporting\n- Planning / FP&A Systems\n- Enterprise financial systems implementations\n\nFunctional & Industry Expertise\n- Strong understanding of:\n- Consolidation processes\n- Financial reporting\n- Budgeting & planning\n- Financial close management\n- Experience implementing or supporting enterprise CPM/EPM/FCR platforms such as:\n- Oracle FCCS\n- SAP BPC\n- Oracle/Hyperion Financial Management\n- OneStream\n- Planful\n- Tagetik\n- Workday Adaptive Planning\n\nTechnical Skills\n- Advanced proficiency with:\n- Microsoft Excel\n- Microsoft SQL Server\n- VBA / Macros\n- Experience building financial reports and reporting frameworks using Excel and Excel Add-Ins\n- Strong understanding of:\n- financial data structures\n- multidimensional reporting\n- accounting KPIs and ratios\n- financial analytics\n\nLeadership & Communication\n- Strong customer-facing capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively across Finance, IT, and Executive audiences\n- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills\n- Experience building, developing, and mentoring high-performing implementation teams
