About the role

About The Position

Seeking a skilled full-stack developer proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and MongoDB, with experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and AI-powered development tools. Must have strong software design and SDLC knowledge, Agile/Scrum experience, and the ability to collaborate in distributed teams; AWS or cloud experience is not required.

Technical and Professional Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Experience in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js 18+ experience.
  • Proficiency in React 18, hooks, context, and query management.
  • Hands-on MongoDB experience, including schema design, aggregation, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD or equivalent, automated testing, and security scanning.
  • Practical use of AI coding assistants and experience with AI-powered product features.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, coding standards, architecture, design patterns, and Agile/Scrum.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with large codebases and distributed teams.
  • Strong prompt engineering, context management, and critical evaluation of AI-generated code.
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, business logic, and development tooling.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently design, build, and deliver high-quality full stack code following INDG best practices. Explain design decisions and the tradeoffs in your work.
  • Build enterprise applications at scale using computers Science fundamentals and a working understanding of front-end and back-end architecture across React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
  • Develop scalable, highly available, high-performance components and services, including MongoDB data modeling, aggregation pipelines, and query optimization, and use proofs of concept, tests, and external research to support technical decisions.
  • Build, integrate, and support AI powered functionalities - such as regulatory change tracking, search, and insight surfaces - across the platform.
  • Own medium complexity features end to end, from design through production support, and contribute to team design reviews.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
