Data Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to add to our Data Engineering capability group. Our ideal candidate is excited about being on project-based teams in client facing roles to architect and implement enterprise data solutions. The Data Engineer will be part of our team of strategy and technology consultants, contributing to projects focused on data strategy, data science, modern data architecture, data visualization and insights.

You are an experienced data pipeline developer who enjoys data wrangling, optimizing data flows, and building solutions for data collection and analysis. You are experienced with developing and deploying cloud-based data solutions. You are team player who is passionate about building team culture. You enjoy a fast-paced environment, solving business problems with the use of data. The Data Engineer will be comfortable applying their expertise across many use cases in various industries.

Who You Are

• You have 1+ years of hands-on experience delivering cloud enterprise solutions across multiple domains in industry or technology consulting.
• You often become an SME on a topic and are sought out by others on your team for your technical expertise and opinion.
• You have an understanding of cloud solution architecture in one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake

You have technical knowledge and experience in some of these areas:

• Cloud Native Tooling: AWS Lambda, Aurora, EC2, Fargate, S3; Azure Functions, Queue Storage, Cosmos DB, App Services; GCP Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions
• Cloud Platform Engineering: Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• Cloud Data Engineering: AWS Athena, Glue, Redshift; Azure Blob Storage, Data Lake Analytics; GCP BigQuery, Looker, Cloud Storage
• Cloud Security Engineering: AWS Cognito, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub; Azure AD, Advanced Threat Protection; GCP Chronicle, VirusTotal, Cloud Monitoring
• Cloud FinOps: CloudHealth, Cloudability, Billing
• Cloud Migration Advisor: AWS DMS, Snowcone/Snowball/Snowmobile; Azure Database Migration Services; GCP Migrate for Anthos and GKE, Data Transfer Services
• You have a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and standards.
• You have a passion for technology and keep yourself up to date on the latest application and cloud development trends across all software development disciplines and processes.
• You enjoy working as a team with other talented individuals to solve challenging problems with creative solutions.
• You are comfortable presenting technical concepts to a client audience, both business and technical.

Compensation

The salary range listed is provided for informational purposes only. Credera treats all applicants as individuals, considering, but not limited to, their professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications, and associated responsibilities as they relate to our specific industry. The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for each unique employee.

Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000

Hybrid Working Model

Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. We expect team members to spend three days in person, with the freedom to choose the days and times that best suit them, their project, and their teams. You'll collaborate with your project team to balance flexibility with the benefits of in-person connection, delivering outstanding results for our clients. The Why: In-person engagement is essential for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. It fosters trust, encourages learning, and helps us grow as consultants and professionals.

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.

Travel

For our consulting roles, our goal is to minimize travel, and most projects do not require extensive travel. While some projects may involve up to 80% travel for a period, the annual average for team members is typically 10%-30%. We take a personal approach to travel by considering your submitted preferences when assigning roles.
