HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

• Manage complete US-India HR operations and employee lifecycle
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding
• Coordinate payroll processing, timekeeping, deductions, bonuses, and employee changes
• Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and other benefit programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Develop and update HR policies, employee handbook, SOPs, and job descriptions
• Manage performance reviews, PIPs, coaching, promotions, and corrective actions
• Handle terminations, separations, exit interviews, and offboarding
• Manage background checks, I-9 documentation, and employment verification
• Partner with managers on workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, and performance issues
• Support compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, and offer negotiations
• Prepare HR reports, headcount reports, recruitment reports, and management updates
• Coordinate with legal counsel, payroll providers, benefits brokers, and external HR vendors
• Ensure consistency in HR practices across departments and locations

Talent Acquisition & Development

• Drive a robust talent acquisition strategy to attract high-calibre professionals at all levels.
• Build learning & development frameworks that foster continuous growth, leadership pipeline, and skill upgradation.
• Lead campus and lateral hiring programs across India and US.

Talent Engagement & Retention

• Champion employee engagement initiatives that strengthen a sense of belonging, motivation, and purpose.
• Design and execute retention strategies to reduce attrition and sustain organizational stability.
• Monitor engagement metrics and translate insights into meaningful action plans.

Performance Management

• Establish and institutionalize a performance-driven culture through robust goal-setting, continuous feedback, and appraisal frameworks.

Succession Planning & Organization Development

• Identify critical roles and develop talent pipelines through structured succession planning.
• Lead organization development initiatives including restructuring, capability building, and change management.
• Design competency frameworks and career progression models to support long-term workforce planning.

Stakeholder Management

• Build trusted relationships with leadership across India and US, influencing decisions, driving alignment, and managing expectations effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Technology to ensure HR solutions enable business growth.
• Act as an advisor and confidant to senior stakeholders on all people-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institution.
• 8-12+ years of overall HR experience
• Strong hands-on experience managing US HR operations
• Experience with employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and recruitment
• Strong knowledge of US employment and labor laws
• Experience handling multi-state employees preferred
• Strong experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, and benefits platforms
• Experience supporting a growing or multi-location organization preferred
