Case Manager

Titan Law Firm is a boutique personal injury law firm located in the heart of Beverly Hills. We consist of a small, close-knit team that takes our work seriously while maintaining a positive, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable office environment.

We are seeking a full-time Case Manager with personal injury experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years of pre-litigation experience, who can commute to Beverly Hills, California.

Client Interaction:

• Make introductory calls to new clients and complete case summaries.
• Complete intake/review if the intake department has not completed it yet.
• Conduct 2-Week follow-up calls with clients to check on treatment status and attendance at doctors' visits.
• Speak with clients and ensure high satisfaction and responsiveness.

Document and Claims Management:

• Obtain original copies of Police Reports.
• Set up claims, including Health Insurance.
• Send out Letters of Representation.
• Ensure clients' documents and photos are collected.
• Follow up on Declaration Pages and add them to Filevine.
• Follow up on Medical Payments coverage and ensure checks are sent directly to the firm.
• Collect bills and records and obtain balances for all medical providers.
• Request the Final Lien Amount from the Health Insurance provider if applicable.

Case Management:

• Set up treatment with providers.
• Keep Filevine updated on case statuses.
• Keep the Paralegal updated on client issues and maintain constant communication.
• Put notes in every file.
• Ensure Dropbox and Filevine folders are set up properly.

Legal and Administrative Support:

• Manage medical treatment.
• Draft Letters of Representation, complete intakes, file claims, and connect clients with medical providers.
• Complete personal injury files from intake to disbursements.
• Compile medical records and bills, negotiate with providers, and prepare demands.
• Draft Letters of Protection, communicate case details with paralegal and attorney, and handle disbursements and checks.
• Forward and arrange calls, emails, faxes, and all correspondence.

Requirements:

• Personal injury pre-litigation experience (1-3 years)
• Case management experience
• Drafting demands
• Drafting complaints and initial discovery
• Forwarding complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
• Drafting discovery responses
• Calendaring and noticing depositions and leaves of absence
• Drafting and filing standard motions and motion responses
• Calendaring litigation timelines
• Conducting status update and client update calls
• Sending out and following up on non-party discovery requests
• Assisting in trial preparation

Schedule and Pay:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• $28-$32 an hour
