About the role
Job Description
Acumatica's Product Marketing team is looking for a strategic Product Marketer to own the product marketing for our QuickBooks Graduates program, the positioning, messaging, and content strategy that helps growing small businesses graduate from QuickBooks to a modern, cloud ERP platform. You have proven experience in ERP or SMB accounting/finance software, and a strong point of view on why and when small businesses outgrow QuickBooks. This role is a full-time opportunity reporting directly to the VP of Product Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the positioning and messaging that fuels the QuickBooks Graduates program, working alongside marketing, sales, and partner teams.
- Build and maintain positioning and content that applies the QuickBooks Graduates story to targeted industries: construction, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services.
- Create differentiated thought leadership assets, messaging, and positioning that establish Acumatica as the trusted destination for growing QuickBooks customers.
- Work collaboratively with the broader marketing organization to support end-to-end go-to-market strategies for QuickBooks Graduates campaigns.
- Partner with the customer advocacy team to review and elevate customer stories and videos, weaving real-world outcomes into marketing assets.
- Work hand-in-hand with product, sales, and industry teams to stay aligned on roadmaps and priorities relevant to QuickBooks migration.
- Leverage performance data and analytics to guide QuickBooks Graduates marketing strategies and evaluate campaign effectiveness by industry segment.
- Create engaging video scripts and perform light video edits in collaboration with professional design and video partners. Develop QuickBooks-comparison and product overview videos and point-and-click demos.
- Maintain and evolve core QuickBooks Graduates assets, including website messaging, comparison guides, datasheets, infographics, and brochures.
- Support industry trade shows, events, webinars, and thought leadership sessions targeted at QuickBooks users evaluating a move to ERP.
- Translate functionality and benefits into real value that resonates with small business buyers.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three to five years of product marketing experience is required, with deep knowledge of small business accounting software (QuickBooks or comparable), ERP business management systems, accounting processes, business technology, and B2B marketing strategies.
- Experience marketing to construction, manufacturing, distribution, or professional services is a plus.
- Educational background in marketing, English, public relations, journalism, business, philosophy, computer science, or a related field.
- Exceptionally strong writer who can explain complex features in clear, direct language and translate technical ERP capability into plain-spoken benefits.
- Analytical mind, creative approach to messaging, excellent organization, multitasking ability, and strong communication.
- Experience with marketing technologies is preferred, including WordPress, Jasper or comparable AI tools, Camtasia, Asana, CRM applications, SharePoint, and Wistia. Direct experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) is a strong plus.
- Team player with positive energy who embodies core values and commits to collaboration and shared success.
Additional Information:
