Delivery Manager

Job Description

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager with over 12 years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. Based in Pune, you will own end-to-end delivery of application development, maintenance, support, and transformation programs, while driving client satisfaction, operational excellence, and business growth across strategic BFSI accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application development, maintenance, support and transformation programs for BFSI accounts.
• Manage client relationships, stakeholder communications, governance forums and executive reporting.
• Drive project execution, resource planning, risk management, financial tracking and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement service improvements, automation, innovation and account growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, quality, security and compliance standards.
• Mentor and manage on-shore and off-shore delivery teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Apply AI-assisted delivery tools for requirement analysis, status reporting, RAID tracking and backlog refinement.
• Oversee governance, risk and compliance activities specific to BFSI regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to strategic planning and digital transformation initiatives for key BFSI clients.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with extensive BFSI program exposure.
• Strong knowledge of banking, insurance, payments, lending or wealth-management operations.
• Proven experience managing medium to large delivery teams across onsite and offshore locations.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior client stakeholders and deliver executive-level communications.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, ITIL, DevOps, Cloud and enterprise application landscapes.
• Expertise in financial management, governance, risk management and people leadership.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Generative AI/LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering and AI-assisted delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps/Jira.
• PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile or Scrum certification preferred.
