Slot/Casino Game Tester

Job Description

You'll own quality on our online slot games, from first build to certified release. You'll make sure every game plays, pays and behaves exactly as designed, on every device, in every market we ship to.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run test strategies for HTML5 slot games: functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke and exploratory testing.
• Test the full gameplay loop: base game, paylines/ways, free spins, bonus rounds, jackpots, purchase features and edge cases.
• Check that the game matches the PAR sheets and maths model: RTP, hit frequency, payouts and RNG outcomes.
• Test across desktop, mobile and tablet, and across browsers and operating systems.
• Check builds against operator or aggregator integration requirements, jurisdiction rules and certification standards (e.g. GLI, eCogra, UKGC, MGA).
• Log, triage and track defects in Jira and our internal Igloo system, and keep test cases up to date in GTO tool.
• Run scripts and help grow the automation coverage.
• Conduct empirical, speedscale and loading profile testing and reporting.
• Make use of approved AI tools and bring optimizations.
• Work closely with developers, artists, animators, maths designers and producers, and report progress at stand-ups and release reviews.
• Suggest improvements to QA processes, test plans and estimates.

Key Requirements

• 2 - 4+ years of QA experience, with hands-on slot or casino game testing at a game studio or provider (required).
• Strong understanding of slot mechanics: paylines, RTP, volatility, RNG behaviour and bonus features.
• Able to read and interpret game design documents and maths models.
• Experience with Jira and GTO test management tool.
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture and browser dev tools.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail, clear written bug reports, and the ability to juggle several game releases at once.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of regulated markets and the certification process.
• Experience with API or backend testing (Postman, logs, network tracing).
• Exposure to AI tools is a plus.
• ISTQB Foundation or similar certification.
