MERN MEAN Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement responsive UI components and ensure seamless user experience.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Well versed in using AI tools like GitHub Copilot.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• React.js, Angular, Node.js, Express.js, NestJS
• MongoDB (MongoDB Atlas preferred)
• REST APIs, Microservices architecture
• AWS (basic deployment & services)
• SQL (Postgres / Oracle – basic understanding)
• Git / GitHub version control
• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
• Authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

• Leverage GitHub Copilot for intelligent code completion, reducing boilerplate and accelerating sprint velocity.
• Use Copilot Chat to explain complex code blocks, suggest refactors, and auto-generate unit test stubs.
• Apply AI-powered static analysis (CodeClimate, SonarQube AI rules) to proactively detect code smells.
• Utilise AI pair programming to generate RESTful API scaffolding and MongoDB schema definitions from natural language prompts.
• Adopt AI-assisted code review workflows (GitHub Copilot PR summaries) to improve review turnaround.
• Explore AI tools for automated documentation generation (JSDoc / Swagger spec drafting via Copilot).
