About the role
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
Project Delivery & Leadership:
- Own project delivery end-to-end, leading post-sale website build projects from kickoff to launch with minimal daily oversight
- Manage resourcing to keep project velocity on pace with milestones by coordinating with department heads to secure design and development resources
- Coordinate quality assurance and risk mitigation by working with QA to confirm deliverables meet internal and client standards, and identify and resolve risks before they affect the timeline
-
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned manufacturing clients: run client meetings, deliver weekly status updates, and turn client input into clear direction for internal teams
- Decode client intent for the internal team by employing analytical skills and curiosity to determine their true business needs, especially when their feedback does not align cleanly with standard marketing terms (e.g., inquiring about their standard customer profile rather than asking for a “target persona”)
- Guide projects toward sound solutions by gathering usable feedback on deliverables, offering real-time resolutions, and clearly relaying client feedback to production team members for implementation
-
Scope, Budget & Documentation:
- Protect project scope and margin by proactively flagging scope creep early, discussing scope expansion or preservation solutions with clients, and communicating contract adjustments with sales partners
- Author and maintain project documentation that serves as the team's source of truth: project schedules, creative briefs, and functional requirements
-
Strategic UX & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Analyze and address user experience deficiencies by providing clients with strategic counsel on content organization, structural navigation adjustments, call-to-action optimizations, and module layout implementation
- Coordinate cross-project with Senior PMs and Digital Marketing Managers on enterprise accounts that run concurrently with a client's website project
What You'll Bring to TMS:
- Experience: Project management experience with demonstrated success managing multiple simultaneous projects at varying levels of complexity
- The Solution-Oriented Mindset: Strong critical thinking and adaptability under changing project conditions, with the ability to decode ambiguous or unconventional client requests, translate them for internal teams, and propose alternatives that keep a project within scope
- Technical Fluency: Practical understanding of how websites function, including the ability to make minor edits (text changes, image swaps) directly in WordPress or HubSpot. Proficiency with Asana or comparable project management software, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail, Calendar). Comfort working across Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Slack
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Working understanding of B2B user experience principles in digital environments, and comfort asking clarifying, non-jargon questions of clients who may not have marketing vocabulary or clearly defined audiences
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience at a digital or marketing agency, specifically in a client-facing delivery role
- CAPM or PMP certification
- Hands-on WordPress administration experience beyond basic content edits
- Prior exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or other technical B2B clients
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini or Claude to speed up documentation and communication work
