Overview of the Job

We are looking for an experienced Digital Media Planner – Associate Vice President to lead digital media planning and strategy for WPP Media in Bangalore. The role will translate business and campaign objectives, audience insights, consumer behaviour and budgets into effective digital media plans; define the right digital channel mix; and work closely with strategy, activation, performance and client teams.

What Your Day Job Looks Like

• Translate client briefs, business objectives, audience insights and budgets into digital media strategies and channel plans.
• Lead planning across display, video, social, online publishers and other digital media channels.
• Use audience research, media consumption data, consumer insights and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Analyse audience behaviour and segmentation to develop effective digital media recommendations.
• Develop reach, frequency, investment and phasing recommendations using relevant planning metrics and benchmarks.
• Review campaign performance, identify optimisation opportunities and translate post-campaign learning into future planning.
• Partner with strategy, activation, performance and client teams to ensure effective execution of the agreed strategy.
• Present clear, persuasive recommendations to senior client and internal stakeholders.
• Support and guide planning teams while strengthening digital planning standards, processes and ways of working.
