Job Description
What would you be doing?
Planning & forecasting:
- Own the annual budgeting and planning process along with periodic (monthly/quarterly) forecasting. Review actuals against plan every month and drive the re-forecast / estimate cycle.
Board & leadership reporting:
- Prepare monthly flash results and highlights, board decks, and leadership MIS reports that give management a clear, timely view of performance.
Business & competitor analysis:
- Track and analyze competitor and market financial performance and benchmarks to inform strategy.
Decision support:
- Build metric and unit-economics frameworks (GMV, take-rate, contribution margin, CAC/payback, burn) to evaluate proposed business decisions — new bets, pricing, spend, and go/no-go calls.
Quarterly reviews:
- Drive quarterly business reviews (QBRs), competitor reviews, and investor/board reporting cycles.
Ad hoc & strategic analysis:
- Run ad hoc analyses and structured problem-solving that complement the regular FP&A cadence and address open strategic questions.
Cross-functional partnering:
- Partner with commercial, growth, and ops teams on time-critical financial deliverables and act as their finance point of contact.
Senior-stakeholder & diligence support:
- Prepare review materials for senior leadership and for investor / due-diligence / audit reviews (e.g., fundraises, statutory and internal audits).
Financial governance:
- Help maintain sound financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and internal policy, applying strong ethical judgment and escalating issues transparently.

- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, ambiguous environment.
Nice to have
