Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an outstanding Partner Manager to join our Partnerships team and work out of our Bangalore office.

As a Partner Manager, you will own a focused portfolio of strategic Whatfix partners across our priority industries and Digital Transformation ecosystem. The role is responsible for building, enabling, and growing these partnerships with a clear commercial focus — driving revenue and building qualified pipeline through partners.

You will work closely with partner leadership, sales, marketing, solution teams, and customer stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, develop joint go-to-market strategies, and create repeatable plays that scale across the partner ecosystem.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role that requires strong executive presence, commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate strategic partnerships into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the joint business plan for a focused portfolio of strategic partners, aligned to Whatfix's priority industries and Digital Transformation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner executives, practice leaders, sales leaders, solution teams, and relevant customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-led pipeline and revenue against quarterly and annual targets.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities, accounts, practices, and geographies within each partner and develop plans to penetrate them.
  • Develop joint go-to-market strategies, sales plays, campaigns, and account plans with partners to create repeatable pipeline and revenue.
  • Enable partner sales, consulting, and solution teams on Whatfix's value proposition, products, use cases, and relevant industry solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to embed Whatfix into the partner's Digital Transformation offerings, methodologies, and customer engagements.
  • Develop strong relationships with the partner's industry and practice leadership to create sustained demand and access to strategic customer opportunities.
  • Track partnership performance, pipeline progression, revenue contribution, and key joint initiatives; use data and insights to continuously improve partner performance.
  • Develop and replicate successful partner plays across accounts, industries, and regions to scale the partnership.
  • Represent Whatfix in partner meetings, industry events, executive forums, and joint customer engagements as required.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured primarily by commercial outcomes, with a focus on:

  • Partner-sourced and partner-led pipeline and revenue
  • Growth of strategic partner relationships
  • Number and quality of joint GTM initiatives and sales plays
  • Creation of repeatable, scalable partner motions

Requirements

  • MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, channel, alliances, consulting, SaaS, ISV, or a related commercial role.
  • Demonstrated experience building pipelines and driving revenue through strategic partnerships.
  • Experience managing and growing relationships with large enterprise partners and their senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology and Digital Transformation programs.
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and business development orientation, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert relationships into measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to understand complex partner ecosystems and identify the right practices, accounts, and stakeholders to engage.
  • Strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize a focused portfolio of strategic relationships and allocate time against the highest-value opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for partner and customer engagements.
