Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Interns who are eager to build a career in Software Testing.

As a QA Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, defect reporting, and quality assurance processes across web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA engineers to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for freshers to learn industry-standard testing practices while working on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and UI Testing for web and mobile applications.
• Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and document test results.
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira or ClickUp.
• Re-test reported issues after bug fixes.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Engineers to understand product functionality.
• Assist in preparing test plans, test execution reports, and test summary reports.
• Perform basic API Testing using Postman.
• Participate in requirement discussions and QA review meetings.
• Learn automation testing concepts and tools under the guidance of senior QA professionals.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
• Basic understanding of:
  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Smoke Testing
  • UI Testing
• Knowledge of Test Case and Bug Report writing.
• Basic understanding of Web and Mobile Applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn Automation Testing and modern QA tools.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with Postman for API Testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Database concepts.
• Exposure to Selenium or any Automation Testing framework.
• Familiarity with Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodology.
• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub
