About Us: WebEngage is an enterprise-grade customer engagement and retention platform that helps global brands across industries such as e-commerce, fintech, travel, edtech, gaming, media, and consumer apps. and turn data into measurable revenue impact.\nTrusted by 800+ brands globally, we have strong presence in India, UAE, KSA, SEA, Europe and beyond.\nWebEngage powers intelligent, real-time engagement across the entire customer lifecycle.\nWe are built for scale.\nWe are built for complexity.\nWe are built for outcomes.\nAt our core, WebEngage is a full-stack retention operating system that combines:\n- A powerful Customer Data Platform (CDP)\n- Real-time behavioral segmentation and intelligence\n- Omnichannel journey orchestration\n- AI-driven personalization and recommendations\n- Deep analytics, experimentation, and revenue attribution\n- WebEngage BLACK: our AI-native layer that brings Agentic capabilities to engagement.\nLearn more about us at www.webengage.com\n\n### Responsibilities:\n- Design and implement high-scale and secure infrastructure. \n- Plan and own your slice of the infrastructure roadmap. \n- Enhance security practices around everything infrastructure. \n- Drive organization-wide infosec and compliance programs like ISO, SOC2, etc. \n- Review operational efficiency of infrastructure and research ways to make it better. \n- Design and operate robust scaling of distributed technologies. \n- Research and implement innovative methods for reducing cloud costs. \n- Boost platform reliability by setting up platforms like CI/CD, centralized logging monitoring, observability, and more. \n- Automate robust provisioning of the entire infrastructure. \n- Design and perform dry-runs of BCP and DR practices. \n- Monitor critical metrics and help reduce reaction time to incidents. \n- Measure system resilience and track performance and availability SLAs.\n\n### Requirements:\n- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering/science field \n- 3 - 6 Years of experience in running high-scale cloud infrastructure \n- Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix Administration \n- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Python, Ansible. \n- Extensive hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (preferable), Azure, GCP \n- Experience in deployment automation, CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, GitLab) and monitoring tools like Prometheus, DataDog, Sentry \n- Knowledge of databases, architecture of distributed technologies (kafka, elasticsearch etc.), JVMs, web servers (nginx), proxies (ha-proxy) \n- An intrinsic desire to go deeper beneath the abstractions offered by new-age systems. \n- Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes) \n- Experience with B2B software is preferable \n- You have experience in gathering, translating and prioritizing customer requirements and defining product roadmaps \n- You have excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.\n\n### Life at WebEngage: \n- We take transparency very seriously.
