What You Will Own
- Design end-to-end product experiences across Digital Forms, Team Chat, Task Center, and related workflows, translating complex operational needs into intuitive, seamless, and accessible experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to turn complex customer problems into clear, actionable solutions that improve productivity and deliver meaningful product outcomes.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key workflow and collaboration experiences across the Weave platform.
- Define scalable interaction patterns and UI solutions that simplify multi-step workflows while balancing clarity, usability, flexibility, and efficiency.
- Leverage and contribute to Weave’s Design System to create consistent, high-quality experiences while evolving patterns to support new and increasingly complex product needs.
- Conduct customer research with practice owners, office managers, and front-office teams to understand real-world workflows, pain points, and opportunities to improve how teams communicate, collect information, and manage work.
- Use product analytics, customer feedback, and tools such as Pendo and Sigma to understand user behavior, evaluate design effectiveness, and continuously improve experiences based on evidence.
- Collaborate with designers across the broader platform to identify opportunities for shared patterns, connected experiences, and a cohesive end-to-end customer journey.
- Contribute to a strong and inclusive design culture through thoughtful critique, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship.
- Partner closely with Engineering throughout implementation to ensure design quality, accessibility, and consistency from initial concepts through the shipped experience.
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
- Strong UX and visual design fundamentals, with the ability to simplify complex workflows and create intuitive, efficient experiences across Digital Forms, Team Chat, Task Center, and related product areas.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, with experience creating prototypes, exploring interaction patterns, and applying user-centered design methods.
- Familiarity with product analytics and research tools such as Pendo, Sigma, Maze, or similar platforms to understand user behavior and inform design decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Research, and other cross-functional partners.
- Ability to translate customer needs, product requirements, and business goals into clear, thoughtful, and scalable design solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and design craft, with a focus on creating accessible, consistent, and high-quality product experiences.
- Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset, with an interest in understanding customer workflows, exploring new problems, and using feedback and evidence to improve experiences over time.
What Will Make Us Love You
- You stay hungry, care more, and stay curious. You care deeply about the customer and the quality of the work.
- You take ambiguous problems, create clarity, and drive them forward without waiting for someone to tell you what to do.
- You understand the day-to-day reality of healthcare practices and design around their real needs, not just what they ask for.
- You look beyond individual features to find patterns, simplify complexity, and build experiences that scale across the product.
- You can navigate multi-tenant products, legacy systems, integrations, and technical constraints without losing sight of the user experience.
- You mentor, give thoughtful feedback, share what you learn, and raise the bar for design around you.
- You build trust with product and engineering, challenge assumptions, and bring people along even across teams and time zones.
- You care about the details and know how to make experiences feel clear, intuitive, and polished.
