About the Role

You'll own validation across our hardware and firmware products, from design verification through production release, so that what we ship holds up in Indian field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the V&V function: strategy, test plans, DVP&R and sign-off criteria for every NPI
• Run electrical, functional, environmental, EMC and reliability testing (HALT/HASS, thermal cycling, vibration, ingress)
• Drive certification and compliance: AIS-004, AIS-156, AIS-189/190, CISPR 25, IEC 61000, ISO 16750, IP ratings etc
• Set up HIL/automated test benches for BMS, MCU and charger firmware regression
• Close the loop on field failures with root cause (8D/FMEA) and feed the findings back into design and test coverage
• Manage test labs, external test houses and certification agencies
• Mentor a team of test engineers

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics or a related field
• Hands-on validation experience with power electronics (converters, inverters, BMS or chargers)
• Strong grasp of automotive/EV standards and homologation in India
• Experience with HIL, test automation (Python, LabVIEW or similar) and CAN-based diagnostics
• Proven record of leading teams and taking products through certification
