Job Description
Here’s what you’ll be doing
As a Senior Manager, Individuals and Societies, you will own your group’s subjects end-to-end. You will create content for your own subject, lead a bench of expert authors, and hold every subject in the group to a rigorous, IB-aligned standard. That last part takes real depth: you know your subject inside out, and you know the other subjects in your group well enough to judge their content with confidence.
This is a senior content and learning-design role built on deep IB expertise and a sharp editorial eye.
1) Own quality and academic rigour across your group's subjects
- Create flagship content for your subject to define what high-quality, IB-aligned content looks like across your group.
- Review every resource and assessment before it ships for IB alignment and editorial accuracy.
- Maintain structured templates for every content type.
- Track IB syllabus and assessment updates, and ensure that all content on the library is current and relevant.
- Keep live content healthy: fix broken links, failed images, and reported issues yourself, or route the niche ones to an author.
2) Build and lead a bench of expert authors
- Find, recruit, and manage experienced IB educators and authors on a contractual basis, scaling the bench by subject.
- Set clear expectations and give feedback that is honest and kind, so everyone’s work lands at the same standard.
3) Own the AI for your subjects
- Create and review the AI prompts and tutors for your subjects.
- Work with the central AI team on the frameworks that keep prompts consistent and reliable.
4) Market your subjects to teachers
- Write subject-specific content that earns educators’ attention: blogs, discussion forums, and social posts.
- Host workshops for the schools using GrowHall, and work with the events team to get GrowHall in front of the right people.
Is this someone that looks like you?
- Have 3+ years as a DP teacher or coordinator. Educators, former school leaders, and people with strong education-adjacent experience are encouraged to apply.
- Know IB assessment deeply: criteria and rubrics, eAssessment and paper formats, and what separates an exam-style question that works from one that doesn’t.
- Write exceptionally well, and can raise the standard of others’ writing through direct, empathetic feedback.
- Lead editorially: you can build content and guide a team of expert authors to one consistent bar.
- Think like a marketer as well as an educator. You are comfortable designing events and campaigns that build awareness and pipeline, not only producing content.
- Manage projects well across multiple consultants, timelines and stakeholders, holding both the big picture and the detail.
- Use research and data to decide what to build and how to take it to market.
- Bring the qualities we hire for at Toddle: coachability, curiosity, ownership, hustle and humility.
- Location: 100% remote.
