Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in ETL development and SQL. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Fabric and Data Lake, ensuring reliable data integration and performance across systems.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
• Perform database administration tasks—user management, backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines and database performance.
• Utilize Azure cloud services for scalable data storage and processing.
• Document processes, workflows, and best practices.

Requirements

Must have technical skills

• 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
• Strong expertise in ETL tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Fabric and Data Lake.
• Proficiency in SQL Development.
• Experience with data modelling, query optimisation, and database performance tuning.
• Hands-on exposure to Azure, with working knowledge of Synapse and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
