DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships, IDEOlogy Health is seeking a motivated, highly organized and detailed oriented person to lead recruitment and contracting for our medical education programs. This position primarily owns the detail of daily key account support of medical education events and may work across multiple projects and accounts at a given time. The SPOA plays a key role in event execution, cross-functional collaboration, and key account interaction. Success in this role requires someone who is adaptable to a fast passed environment, can prioritize tasks and has strong follow through.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day event recruitment and speaker contracting, managing event timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Track and maintain accurate data and analytics for medical education events.
- Oversee multiple events simultaneously, with guidance from Strategic Partnership Directors, ensuring they have everything aligned to be successful.
- Collaborate with internal IDEOlogy teams, including, event planning, business development and marketing for event execution.
- Ensure timely updates with our internal team, including issue identification and possible solutions.
- Preparation of status reports for internal teams and clients, share updates on weekly meetings.
- Proactively work to streamline processes and share ideas to develop operational efficiencies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. 1-3 years’ experience, preferred fields of study include communications, business, or related.
Professional Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Capable of working independently while keeping manager informed and aligned
- Capable of identifying and addressing project issues with minimal supervision, while escalating as needed
- Comfortable asking questions and thinking proactively to address potential obstacles
- Hybrid (2 days per week in Austin, TX office)
