Principal Product Manager- SD-WAN & SASE

The Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager – SD-WAN & SASE to drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for SonicWall’s secure connectivity platform. This role will lead the evolution of SonicWall’s SD-WAN capabilities and SASE architecture, delivering integrated networking and security that enables customers to securely connect users, sites, applications, and clouds.

You will work cross-functionally across engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, and partners to define differentiated solutions that address real customer challenges in distributed networking, zero trust access, and cloud security.

This role requires strong expertise in networking, security architecture, and cloud-delivered services, along with the ability to translate market opportunities into high-impact products.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for SonicWall SD-WAN and SASE solutions.
• Drive the transition from traditional network security architectures to cloud-delivered secure networking models.
• Align product direction with emerging industry frameworks such as Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust Architecture.
• Identify growth opportunities across SMB, distributed enterprise, and managed service provider segments.

Product Development & Execution

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing lifecycle management.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed product requirements and technical specifications.
• Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize features, manage tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality releases.
• Ensure tight integration between SD-WAN, firewall, cloud security, and management platforms.

Market & Customer Insights

• Conduct competitive analysis across the secure networking landscape.
• Engage directly with customers, partners, and field teams to understand evolving connectivity and security challenges.
• Define clear product differentiation in performance, ease of deployment, and security integration.

Go-to-Market Leadership

• Partner with product marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
• Support field teams with training, customer briefings, and strategic deals.
• Work with channel partners and MSPs to drive adoption of SonicWall’s secure networking platform.

Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years of product management experience in networking, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in SD-WAN, secure connectivity, or enterprise networking technologies.
• Experience delivering products aligned with SASE or cloud-delivered security architectures.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts including routing, VPNs, WAN optimization, and traffic steering.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex platforms from concept to market.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with firewall platforms, network security appliances, or cloud security services.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust networking and secure remote access architectures.
• Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) or channel ecosystems.
• MBA or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or business.
