About the role
As a Senior Compliance Analyst, Governance Programs at Snowflake, you will:

Build a deep understanding of regulated-industry compliance requirements and how they apply to Snowflake.
-
Establish and run programs that manage Snowflake's compliance posture against those requirements, including readiness, how we communicate that posture externally, and leading customer and regulator audits.

Become an expert on Snowflake's control environment, security features, and best practices for customer deployments.

Serve as a trusted advisor on Snowflake's security and compliance obligations and documentation, responding to customer and regulator inquiries.

Build self-service resources so customers and field teams can increasingly answer compliance questions on their own.

Join sales conversations to explain Snowflake's security and compliance capabilities.
Our ideal Senior Compliance Analyst, Governance Programs will have:

5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, GRC, or a related governance function preferred.

Proven program management experience, including leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority over contributors.

Experience writing and maintaining governance artifacts, including policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Ability to influence stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Legal, and Security to drive control implementation and remediation.

Solid knowledge of at least one recognized governance or risk framework, such as ISO 27001, SOC 1/SOC 2, or NIST CSF.

Ability to translate governance requirements into practical controls and processes that operational teams actually adopt, going beyond policy authorship.

Experience using AI to automate or streamline manual compliance workflows.

US Personhood required (due to nature of covered federal data and government authorization work)
Bonus points for the following:

CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or other information security certifications

Experience with NIST 800-53 or HIPAA
