Infrastructure Transformation Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Transformation Engineer with a strong engineering background to help modernize Sirion’s technology infrastructure and operational capabilities in the age of AI.

This role will work closely with IT teams and partner extensively with Information Security to drive the secure adoption of emerging technologies, automation, AI-enabled solutions, cloud technologies, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will combine expertise in infrastructure, automation, cloud technologies, DevOps, and cybersecurity to improve operational efficiency, strengthen the organization’s security posture, and ensure technology innovation aligns with enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Partner with IT teams to modernize enterprise infrastructure, operational tooling, and technology platforms.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that improve performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support cloud transformation, infrastructure optimization, and technology standardization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve IT service delivery.
• Evaluate and implement AI-powered tools, automation platforms, GenAI solutions, copilots, and intelligent operational solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows, scripts, integrations, dashboards, and internal utilities.
• Drive secure implementation of infrastructure, cloud, automation, and AI technologies in collaboration with Information Security.
• Apply security-by-design principles across infrastructure modernization and technology transformation initiatives.
• Participate in security architecture reviews, risk assessments, technology evaluations, and vulnerability remediation initiatives.
• Support implementation of security controls across cloud, infrastructure, endpoints, and operational platforms.
• Ensure technology implementations align with organizational security policies, standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Support audit readiness and technology risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Information Security teams on POCs, pilots, testing, and production rollouts.
• Provide technical recommendations and guidance to stakeholders on emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions.
• Promote best practices around automation, observability, resilience, scalability, and governance.
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, automation, and infrastructure engineering.

Skills & Experience & Technical You Bring To the Table

• 3–6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, IT operations, cybersecurity, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related technical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and modern technology ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs and automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, operating systems, and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, security architecture, and technology risk management.
• Working knowledge of IAM, Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Security Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Data Protection & Privacy.
• Ability to assess infrastructure and technology solutions from a security, privacy, compliance, and governance perspective.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and SOC 2.
• Experience implementing enterprise automation platforms and modern operational tooling.
• Familiarity with AI/GenAI platforms, copilots, and AI governance concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively across IT, Information Security, and Engineering teams.
• Strong ownership and execution mindset with the ability to balance business agility with security and governance requirements.
