About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance & Operations Associate to manage critical finance processes across billing, collections, accounting support, and revenue operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, clean financial data, and actionable business reporting while partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams.
What you will do
Billing & Revenue Operations
- Manage end-to-end customer invoicing—including generation, validation, and distribution—to ensure 100% accuracy and adherence to agreed timelines.
- Monitor revenue realization and identify potential revenue leakage.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve billing disputes.
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Own the end-to-end collections process, including managing aging reports and proactively following up on overdue invoices via emails and phone calls.
- Track DSO, overdue balances, recovery rates, and collection effectiveness.
- Escalate high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Assist in month-end and year-end close activities financial reporting activities.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Build and maintain finance dashboards and KPI reports.
- Analyze revenue trends, collections performance, and customer payment behavior.
- Conduct variance analysis and highlight key business insights.
- Manage ad-hoc tasks that might come up in relation to billing and finance.
You should apply if you have
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounting, or Revenue Operations.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, reporting).
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
Good to have
- Experience working in a SaaS or technology company. Early stage start-up experience is preferred.
- Exposure to accounting systems such as Zoho Books and QuickBooks
- Understanding of revenue operations and subscription-based business models.
- Knowledge of CRMs and the ability to maintain clean data on a CRM
