SENIOR EDI CONSULTANT

The need for integration is continuously growing. As a SEEBURGER Application Support / Middleware Administrator (Senior), you require self-motivation and technical proficiency in SEEBURGER administration and configuration of servers and clients, including effective troubleshooting abilities. This position focuses on BIS administration and support to ensure extraordinary support for the customer, with overall responsibility for performance, availability, and scalability of the infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide application support for the Business Integration Suite, including classic product support and operational and monitoring responsibilities within SEEBURGER Remote Services.
• Support L1, L2 and L3 production issues and technical issue resolution for SEEBURGER BIS and other integration products.
• Install, configure and deploy SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite solutions and provide technical consulting in the field.
• Handle maintenance, backup and recovery, multi-node active clustering, high availability and performance tuning.
• Manage certificates, password encryption and policies, PGP encryption and SSH keys.
• Assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis, and solve support cases independently.
• Review logs for user activity, BIS monitoring and dashboards, and follow change management processes.
• Work on EDI X12 transactions, mapping, end-to-end testing, data quality issues and adapter/connectivity issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers, partners and users, and support colleagues and new team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in SEEBURGER BIS suites.
• Experience with B2B, MFT, API and ESB solutions such as TIBCO, Software AG, IBM, Axway, Mulesoft, Apigee, Dell Boomi and Oracle.
• Familiarity with message standards such as JSON, XML, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, EDIFACT, X12 and TRADACOMS.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Proficiency with UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms, and with database systems such as DB2, Oracle and SQL.
• Experience with Java and/or REST API, and with SOA and EAI implementations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and build and monitoring toolsets.
• Strong ethics, professionalism, analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
