Chief of Staff

We are looking for a Chief of Staff who can operate as an extension of the Founder—bringing sound judgment, strong analytical thinking, and the ownership needed to move critical business priorities forward.

You will work directly with the Founder to solve business problems, drive execution across functions, and build teams and systems that reduce the company’s dependence on the Founder for day-to-day decisions.

What You’ll Own

Founder’s Office & Execution

• Translate the Founder’s priorities into clear plans, owners, and deadlines.
• Independently drive critical initiatives from problem definition to delivery.
• Anticipate risks, resolve bottlenecks, and make informed decisions with incomplete information.
• Represent the Founder’s priorities in internal discussions and ensure decisions lead to action.

Business Strategy & Operations

• Analyse business performance, unit economics, resource allocation, and growth opportunities.
• Identify gaps across Product, Sales, Operations, and Hiring, and take ownership of resolving them.
• Build practical processes, dashboards, and review mechanisms that improve execution.
• Lead new initiatives across revenue, growth, and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Align teams around business priorities and hold owners accountable for delivery.
• Resolve dependencies and trade-offs without requiring the Founder’s involvement at every step.
• Run focused business reviews and follow through on commitments.

Hiring & Organisation Building

• Partner with leadership on organisation design, workforce planning, and critical hiring.
• Drive hiring priorities from role definition through evaluation and closure.
• Help build capable functional leaders who can independently own their businesses.

Ideal Background & Pedigree

• 2–6 years of experience in management consulting, a Founder’s Office, business strategy, or a demanding startup operating role.
• Strong preference for graduates from IITs and/or IIMs, including newer campuses, with a strong academic record and demonstrated leadership.
• Experience at a credible management consulting firm or specialist strategy boutique is highly preferred, particularly with exposure to business strategy, growth, operations, or organisational transformation.
• Candidates combining IIT/IIM pedigree with consulting experience and hands-on execution will be especially relevant.
• Evidence of delivering measurable business outcomes and taking responsibility beyond the formal scope of a role.
