Product Owner

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive product strategy, business engagement, and agile delivery for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions, with a strong focus on Retail Accounting. The role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to translate business requirements into scalable solutions that deliver measurable value and align with the organization’s digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Ownership: Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities based on business value, ROI, and strategic objectives. Own the product backlog and ensure continuous value delivery.
• Business & Stakeholder Management: Partner with Finance, Retail, and Supply Chain leaders to understand business needs, conduct requirement workshops, validate solutions, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Agile Delivery: Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and release planning while ensuring delivery quality and timelines.
• Retail Accounting & Functional Expertise: Ensure D365 F&O solutions effectively support retail financial processes, including sales, returns, invoices, discounts, promotions, revenue recognition, financial reconciliation, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA teams, Scrum Masters, and implementation partners to manage dependencies, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure successful implementation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes, product performance, reporting, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with relevant financial and retail standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Product Ownership or Product Management, preferably in ERP or enterprise application environments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Finance & Accounting, and Retail Accounting processes.
• Knowledge of POS integration, Supply Chain, and Order-to-Cash workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodologies, backlog management, user stories, and release planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Microsoft certifications in D365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Solution Architecture.
• Experience in retail transformation, multi-country implementations, or global rollouts.
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics, reporting, and process optimization within ERP platforms.
