Job Description
reach52 is seeking a Group People & Culture Manager that will support reach52’s mission to build access to healthcare for 52% of the world, who currently cannot access it. You will be tasked with leading day-to-day HR operations for our team members located around the globe while also leading efforts to make reach52 a great place to work during a period of rapid scale across India and Africa.
Core role scope and responsibilities of the role will be:
- Global People Operations
- Own all global HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and performance cycles across markets.
- Standardise contracts, policies, and compliance documentation across India, Southeast Asia, and Africa (with local adaptations).
- Manage HR tools and systems to improve efficiency and transparency across a distributed workforce.
- Support payroll coordination and benefits alignment with Finance and regional teams.
- Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding
- Work with department heads to anticipate hiring needs and build a pipeline of talent for key roles.
- Lead recruitment campaigns that reflect reach52’s mission, culture, and values.
- Build a simple, scalable onboarding experience that sets new joiners up for success.
- Strengthen reach52’s employer brand across target markets through storytelling and digital presence on LinkedIn.
- Culture and Engagement
- Champion reach52’s values across all regions.
- Create moments of connection that keep a distributed team united.
- Develop engagement surveys and track pulse metrics to ensure a healthy, high-performing culture.
- Support leadership in promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and diversity in a cross-cultural context.
Who you are (probably)
- 8+ years of progressive HR, people ops, and culture-building experience, ideally across emerging markets.
- Strong grasp of employment laws and best practices in India, plus curiosity to learn more about others
- Skilled in both people operations (processes, systems, compliance) and people experience (engagement, culture, storytelling).
- Experience with multicultural teams and international exposure
- Highly organised, empathetic, and pragmatic — able to balance heart and data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident across diverse, global teams.
- Passionate about access to healthcare, impact, and building organisations that do good and perform well.
