Test Engineer

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test planning, automation testing, quality assurance processes, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n- Gather, analyse, and understand business and technical requirements.\n- Perform feasibility analysis and define appropriate testing strategies.\n- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks.\n- Lead automation testing activities across web, mobile, and API applications.\n- Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing as required.\n- Conduct database validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.\n- Track, prioritise, and manage defects through their complete lifecycle.\n- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to resolve quality issues.\n- Establish and monitor quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.\n- Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality metrics.\n- Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance on testing methodologies and automation.\n\nDesired Skills / Background\n- B.Tech, B.E., MCA, M.Tech, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Internationally recognised OEM certifications will be an added advantage.\n- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.\n- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\n- Hands-on experience in automation testing and automation framework design.\n- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.\n- Strong understanding of database validation and SQL queries.\n- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n- Ability to lead testing activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
