About Proximity Foundation:

Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence.

We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role in Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve.

Role Focus:

Research and profile donor organizations, CSR funds, and institutional partners aligned with Proximity Foundation's mission. Your findings directly inform who the Partnerships Lead reaches out to and how.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential donor and CSR partner organizations
• Profile target organizations, including mission alignment, funding focus, and grant cycles
• Maintain and update a prioritized list of partnership targets
• Monitor funding landscapes and CSR trends relevant to Proximity Foundation
• Summarize findings into briefing notes for the Partnerships Lead
• Support preparation of partnership proposals and outreach materials

What a Typical Week Looks Like:

You'll spend your time researching organizations, building out profiles in a shared tracker, and writing concise briefing notes. Mostly desk-based, async research work, ideal for someone detail-oriented.

The quality of your research directly determines which doors the Partnerships Lead can knock on. You're building the intelligence layer of Proximity Foundation's growth strategy.
