Android - SDE 1

About Us:

We are Primetrace Technologies, the team behind:

📱 Crafto – 100M+ downloads

📱 Kutumb – 100M+ downloads

Backed by Sequoia and Tiger Global ($25M+ raised), we’re looking for a founding-level Android engineer to join us at the ground floor.

Job Location: Bangalore (Work from Office – we build fast, together)

Who We’re Looking For

This is not a regular job. We want someone who is restlessly curious, thrives in chaos, and wants to leave a dent. You’ll have the freedom, responsibility, and impact that only comes with early-stage product building.

What You’ll Do

• Own Android development end-to-end – from architecture to release.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate new features in a high-feedback loop.
• Craft blazing-fast, pixel-perfect UIs that feel magical to use.
• Go deep in Kotlin, work closely with Firebase and Android SDKs.
• Work directly with founders, PMs, and designers – no silos, no layers.
• Shape tech decisions, team culture, and the DNA of the app.

You Might Be The One If You

• Have 1-3 years of solid Android development experience.
• Have built and shipped apps from scratch – and loved it.
• Are hungry to build something impactful and world-class.
• Take ownership without being asked – and bring solutions, not problems.
• Are high on energy, low on ego, and never say “that’s not my job.”
• Want to be in the room where 0-to-1 decisions happen.

What You’ll Get

• Founding team energy – your work directly shapes the product and team.
• Infinite learning – fast pace, big challenges, full ownership.
• A startup in stealth with the backing of giants (Sequoia, Tiger Global).
• A chance to build something you’d proudly tell your grandkids about.

If you believe you’re not just another engineer but someone who can build, break, and lead, let’s talk.
