Manager - Bank Partnerships

Job Description

• Map, develop and drive strong working relationships with key influencers for assigned Banks under merchant referrals, subvention and affordability tracks.
• Getting PhonePe empaneled/ onboarded as a vendor in the assigned Banks while also ensuring downstream process alignment across all relevant cross functional teams at PhonePe.
• Ability to front-end contract negotiation and coordinate with cross functional teams like finance, tax, compliance, etc.
• Work alongside each assigned Bank to build a funnel of merchant prospects for our sales team to convert and also evaluate merchant subvention asks with Banks.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams like solutions & product to ensure that we deliver on required Bank customizations by sizing the opportunity and getting it prioritized.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of overall experience
• Established network with banks (Public, Private & Foreign)
• High energy team player with quick learning ability
• Proven track record of executing Bank partnerships for measurable results
• Ability to conduct technical, contractual, and financial conversations with Banks
• Ability to think strategically and influence cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel pan India for Bank/ merchant meetings
