- Travel to customer locations, project sites, and company offices regionally and nationally as required.
Core Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
- Proven experience in electrical estimating, preferably involving critical power, UPS systems, generators, data centers, mission-critical facilities, structured cabling, and/or electrical service and maintenance projects.
- Demonstrated experience performing detailed quantity take-offs and developing comprehensive project estimates.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, power distribution, installation methods, construction practices, and applicable industry codes and standards.
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, RFPs, bid packages, and technical documentation.
- Ability to evaluate labor requirements, material quantities, equipment needs, subcontractor costs, and project risks.
- Experience obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.

Preferred Experience
- Experience estimating turn-key UPS, generator, critical power, or data-center projects.
- Experience estimating electrical service, preventive maintenance, upgrades, replacements, and retrofit projects.
- Knowledge of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber.
- Experience with estimating platforms such as Accubid, ConEst, or similar software.
