Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in building scalable and secure microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, SQL, and distributed systems, along with hands-on experience in identity and access management, messaging platforms, caching technologies, and cloud-native deployments.\n\n### Key Responsibilities:\n- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.\n- Build RESTful APIs and microservices adhering to best practices and coding standards.\n- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, and Okta.\n- Design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.\n- Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve application performance and response times.\n- Develop asynchronous and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.\n- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using observability tools and logs.\n- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams for deployments and environment management.\n- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.\n- Work in containerized environments with exposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift.\n\n### Mandatory Technical Skills:\n- 6+ years of experience in Java development.\n- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or Java 21.\n- Extensive experience in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.\n- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.\n- Good understanding and implementation experience of OAuth 2.0.\n- Experience integrating with Okta for authentication and authorization.\n- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching.\n- Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.\n- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.\n- Basic understanding of OpenShift.\n- Working knowledge of Kubernetes.\n\n### Preferred Skills:\n- Exposure to AWS cloud services.\n- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\n- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.\n- Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.\n- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.\n\n### Benefits:\n- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.\n- Comprehensive health insurance.\n- Paid time off and flexible working hours.\n- Professional development opportunities and support for continuing education.
