Role: AEM EDS Developer / Front-End Developer – EDS Migration
Job Overview:
We are looking for skilled AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) Developers / Front-End Developers to join our EDS Migration Partner Delivery POD.
The role involves supporting the migration and development of modern, high-performance web experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Edge Delivery Services. Candidates with hands-on EDS development experience are preferred. Strong Front-End Developers with relevant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript expertise can also be considered and may be enabled on EDS as part of the program.
AEM Edge Delivery Services – EDS Developer
- Develop and maintain websites and components using AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
- Build and customize EDS blocks/components based on business and design requirements.
- Work with EDS project boilerplate and understand its development structure and best practices.
- Work with the EDS content pipeline and content-driven development approach.
- Support AEM/EDS migration projects, including migration of existing web experiences to EDS.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Leverage AI-based development tools and approaches to accelerate EDS implementation and development.
- Optimize web pages for Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, content teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and EDS-related issues.
- Follow coding standards, Git-based development practices, and established CI/CD processes.
Front-End Developer Responsibilities:
For candidates without direct EDS experience, strong Front-End Developers may be considered for the program.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using semantic HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Build layouts using CSS Flexbox, Grid, animations, and modern CSS techniques.
- Implement responsive and mobile-first designs across devices and browsers.
- Perform cross-browser testing and resolve UI compatibility issues.
- Optimize websites for web performance and Core Web Vitals.
- Follow accessibility standards, including WCAG.
- Work with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to translate designs into high-quality front-end experiences.
- Use Git, build tools, and CI/CD workflows as part of the development lifecycle.
